At colourful durbar of chiefs,high profile government officials and the people of Trede in Atwima Kwanwoma in the Ashanti Region on Tuesday August 17, 2021, President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has disclosed that, his government has set aside about 100 million dollars for the start of it’s flagship Agenda 111 Project.
The hospital projects to be executed in 111 districts across the country are expected to be completed in 18 months, all things being equal.
Each project would cost 16.88 million US dollars.
President Akufo-Addo said 12.88 would go into construction with the remaining 4 million dollars for equipment.
The projects are in fulfilment of the President’s promise to increase accessibility of quality healthcare in the country.
He appealed to government officials, traditional leaders and the public to support contractors to execute the projects to satisfaction.
The Ashanti Regional Minister, Mr Simon Osei Mensah in his welcome address thanked the President for choosing to break ground for start monumental projects.
