Ahafo Ano South East DCE Provides Financial Support to Tertiary Students

The District Chief Executive(DCE) for Ahafo Ano South East, Mr Thomas Owusu Ansah has extended his benevolence to ten tertiary students in his district.

A total of 20,000 cedis was unevenly disbursed to the students according to their need.

Addressing the beneficiaries in his office on Monday January 10, 2022, the DCE said the gesture forms part of his numerous plans to support brilliant but needy students in his jurisdiction.

This gesture, he said, came as the first phase of support for tertiary students.

He added that, President Akufo-Addo was committed to investing in students hence his desire to emulate same at the local level.

He admonished the students to study hard in order to encourage him to do more for them and others who might request for his support.

Beneficiaries expressed their delight and thanked DCE for responding to their plight.

They pledged to study hard to justify the the investment made in their education.

With the DCE to disburse the financial support to the students were Mr Kaleem Abdallah Adam, the District Coordinating Director (DCD), Mr Charles Aboagye, an Assistant to the DCD and Mr Thomas Awuah Asem, District Information Officer.
