Akufo-Addo Maintains Amoah Awuku As MCE for Atwima Nwabiagya.
President Nana Dankwah Akufo-Addo has re-endorsed Mr Michael Amoah Awuku as the best person to prosecute the agenda of his government in the Atwima Nwabiagya Municipal Assembly.
The incumbent Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) would have to be confirmed or otherwise by Assembly members as per Local Government Act 936 at date yet to be fixed.
Meanwhile, the Atwima Media Practitioners Association in a statement issued by its Public Relations Officer, Mr Kwabena Wireko has congratulated Mr Amoah Awuku on his re-nomination as the MCE for Atwima Nwabiagya.
“We congratulate you on your re-nomination as the MCE for Atwima Nwabiagya. We hope that the Assembly members would endorse you to continue with your good work that convinced the President to give you another opportunity to serve his government”, the statement added.
