CEO Of PAG Tv Receives Prestigious Award

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PAG Media Group, operators of PAG Television, Mr. Precious Adusi Poku, has received a prestigious award in recognition of his exceptional contribution towards community development and support for mental health awareness in Ghana.

The award is the echelon among the impressive array of awards presented to distinguished individuals who have used their various fields of endeavor to contribute to the promotion of mental health awareness and community development services in the Ashanti Region and Ghana on the whole.

The award ceremony which took place last Sunday at the Ejisu Asawase Community Park in Kumasi, witnessed the presentation of various categories to prominent individuals and organizations across the country, including the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Health Service, Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly and the media among others.

In an interview with a section of the media, Mr. Adusi Poku expressed his utmost gratification to the Almighty God and to the management and board of Willingway Foundation Ghana, and extolled the collective hard work of management and staff, for their persevering spirit and heart to care for humanity.

Mr. Opoku conveyed his deepest appreciation to his colleague-staff at PAG Media and PAG TV. He declared God’s blessings upon their lives and prayed that the Almighty God opens more doors of opportunities and blessings and promised to used his platform and expertise to promote and contribute to the awareness of mental health related issues in Ghana.

Mr. Adusi also used the medium to thank the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Mrs. Lydia Abena Manu, and the entire Willingway fraternity for the award and assured of his readiness and commitment towards deepening relations with the Willingway family in pursuit of achieving its goals and objectives.

Willingway Foundation Ghana is a rehabilitation center for drug and alcohol addicts, and as well runs a mental care home for mentally persons. The facility which is situated at Ejisu Asawase in Kumasi provides holistic awareness about mental health relation issues.

Other awardees include Chief Executive Officer of Peace and Love Hospitals and Breast Care International, Dr. Mrs. Beatrice Wiafe Addae, Founder and Leader of Face of Grace Chapel, Evangelist Lord Kenya, as well as host of other renowned media practitioners across the country and traditional authorities among others.
