Mr Kwame Kaya,45, a chainsaw operator has been shot dead at Numreso in the Amansie Central District of the Ashanti Region.
He was shot dead at 7:30pm on Tuesday August 10, 2021.
An eye witness who spoke to Myvoicenews.com narrated that, the deceased was hired by the community’s leaders to cut down logs for their toilet project.
Whiles working in the forest, young men wielding guns confronted the deceased to stop work because they believed that concession belongs to one business man they know.
The heated altercation resulted in the death of the deceased who was shot in his shoulder and died instantly.
The District Police Command has begun investigation leading to the death of the deceased whiles the body had been deposited at the Jacobu government hospital morgue pending autopsy.
