Work will soon commence on extension of electricity project to seven deprived communities in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency in the Ashanti Region.
China International Water and Electric Corporation, a Chinese contractor has met the leadership of the Constituency to assure them of perfect execution of work.
The Chinese international company which is contracted by the government to ensure that residents in the seven deprived communities enjoy electricity for the first time, told the Member of Parliament(MP), Mr Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere and the Municipal Chief Executive(MCE), Mr Michael Amoah Awuku that they are committed to complete work on scheduled time.
The communities to benefit from the Self-Helped Electrification Project include Akuapim, Ahwaiapatan, Bankyease, Brosankro, Daakoakrom, Ntabanu and Nyamesem.
A source told Myvoicenews.com that adequate arrangements had been made to assist the Chinese company to work efficiently, and complete on time.
” We have made all arrangements needed for work to commence including providing the workers with accommodation and all necessities needed for their wellbeing…”, the source stated.
