The Executive Director for the Ekow Ewusi Foundation, Mr. Horace Ekow Ewusi donated Hundred (100) bags of cement to the leadership of Abura market.
Mr.Ewusi who is a senior member of the New Patriotic Party in the Central region prior to the 2020 election as part of his campaign tour visited the Abura market and made a promise to the market women of Abura after they tabled a request before him.
Mr. Ekow Ewusi addressing the market women told them he was there to redeem the promise he made in 2020 when he called on them to rally and vote for the President and the MP of the NPP.
He said even though they did not vote for the parliamentary candidate but that cannot be a hindrance for him to render support to the women of Abura.
He asked them to use the cement for it intended purposes and said he will do all he can to support them in any capacity he can.
Receiving the cement on behalf of the market women was their market queenmother, Auntie Maggie, she thanked Mr. Ekow Ewusi for his kind gestures and always not hesitating to render assistance to them.
She further asked for God’s blessings towards everything he lays his hands on.
The Assemblyman for the area, Hon. Moses Arthur expressed his appreciation to Mr. Ekow Ewusi for coming to the aid of the market women. According to him, many people including people from both political divides keep making promises to the market women and never redeem that but Mr. Ekow Ewusi has showed maturity and kindness for redeeming his political promise.
Other market women showered praises on Mr. Ekow Ewusi for his kindness.
