Ghana’s Leading Manufacturing Hub in Africa Agenda on Course- Alan Kyerematen

 

Ghana’s Trade and Industry Minister, Mr John Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen has re-affirms the government’s commitment to making the country a leading manufacturing hub in Africa.

Mr Alan Kyerematen assured that Ghana was “building a resilient productive private sector to position Ghana as the leading Manufacturing Hub in Africa is our strategic goal'”.

On Tuesday, September 14, 2021, the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo inaugurate Presidential Business Summit, put together by the Ministry of Trade and Industry at the Kempinski Hotel, Accra.

The Summit forms part of government’s efforts to create a platform for constructive engagement between government and the private sector on critical issues of interest to the private sector in Ghana.

The Trade and Industry Minister said, the role of the private sector in national development could not be underestimated.

“With or without the incidence of natural disasters, it is a well established fact in development history that the most powerful economies in the world are those that maintain a strong focus on private sector development”, he added.
