The Second edition of the Western North Media Festival Awards Male Newscaster of the year 2021/2022 was presented to Komhyini Nana Hamza Mohammed of Stylish Radio (102.1) Bibiani.
Nkomhyini Nana Hamza Mohammed beat Awuku Addo of Okyeame Radio (99.7) and Kofi Ansah Sasraku of Adehyei fm (100.3) all in Bibiani to merged as the best performing Akan news caster in the Western North Region at the 2021 Western North Media Awards.
Nkomhyini Nana Hamza Mohammed obtained his Journalism training at Oxford Institute of Business and Journalism in Kumasi after a successful completion in the year 2007.
Hamza Mohammed began as a News Reporter at Fox fm (97.9) Kumasi after his mandatory attached.
He lated joined Adehyei fm (100.3 ) Bibiani in the year 2009 as an Akan news caster for 5 years and moved to Adunu fm (89.7) sankore in 2013.
He worked with the station for 2 years and later came back to Adehyei fm Bibiani again in 2014 and also worked for 1 year.
He then moved to worked with Price fm Kumasi for 1 year and joined Henex Radio Now Stylish Radio Bibiani in 2016 and spend 3 years.
While working with those stations he was also working with Joydady multiple media too as a correspondent.
He joined Stylish Radio in 2019 as an Akan news anchor and he is the news editor.
He is married and father of two and Moslem.
