Burna Boy has warned American superstar P Diddy never to challenge him on the dancefloor otherwise he will give him the embarrassment of his life.
The two celebrities are very good friends. Recall Diddy was one of the executive producers on Burna Boy’s ‘Twice as Tall’ album which cliched a Grammy Award.
Per the account of this report, It appears that Diddy had challenged the Nigerian musician to a dance battle, but Burna Boy jokingly warned him about the dire consequences.
The two music artists attended a star-studded celebration in New York, USA. Diddy, 53, was cautioned by 31-year-old Burna that he was getting older and would be unable to keep up with his skills.
Sounding the warning to his compatriot, Burna Boy said; “Hey fam, OG! I don’t think you remember you are an old man, I don’t want to disgrace you right here. Don’t call me on the dance floor, I’ve been kinging that sh*t.
“You are the king on the records, I will give you that. But don’t call me on the dance floor mehn, that will be embarrassing for you.”
Meanwhile, Davido recently opened up about his friendship with Burna Boy, his perceived rival. Ebro spoke with Davido after he appeared on the Morning Show on Hot 97FM in New York where he said he and Burna get along well.
The self-described African Giant occasionally checks in on him, especially during and after his period of mourning, the DMW boss noted. Remember that the two’s hostility peaked in 2020 following an argument at a nightclub in Ghana?
It’s interesting that Davido claimed that their crew members, not either of them, were at fault for the argument from that fateful night.
“Funny enough, it wasn’t even us. It was our people [team]. It was crazy because it didn’t even involve us,” he said.
Speaking on unity among Afrobeats artists, OBO said; “Afrobeats [artists] we are in unity. I spoke to Burna [Boy]. He called me. He calls me as well but we’ve not really spoken like that.”
On whether he plans to resolve his issues with the self-acclaimed African Giant, Davido said; “I think I definitely would. He [Burna Boy] called me. Wiz [Kid] called me. And funny enough, me and Burna used to be mad close. Very very close.
