The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahafo Ano South-East, Mr Thomas Owusu Ansah says he would leave office with remarkable achievement for today and the future generation to benefit.
He said, he would work
to bring meaningful development to the area, so that, “I would leave my footprint boldly on the sands of time”.
” I am desirous to see my name written on plaque on the walls of most developmental projects in my District particularly during my tenure of office”, he emphasised.
The DCE made the explicit statement in his address at community engagement at Adugyama on Tuesday October 18, 2022.
He said he would be proud to say in future he was in office when boarding facilities were built in Adugyama Community Senior High School and Sabronum Methodist Community Senior High School.
He mentioned that, works on nursing training college he conceptualised would start anytime soon.

He disclosed to myvoicenews.com that, contracts had been awarded for speedy construction of a modern market at Pokukrom, staff accomodation, and a procurement of 1,000 furniture for basic schools.
He further confirmed that, Sabronum and Adugyama police stations, Pokukrom magistrate court, magistrate’s bungalow, staff bungalow for District Assembly would soon be ready for use.
The chief of Adugyama, Nana Boakye Yiadom Kotoko was full of praise for the DCE, noting that, he had seen remarkable improvement in the district since the latter assumed office.

He urged him to work hard to bring rapid development to the district.
For his part, Assemblyman for Adugyama, Mr Ishmael Agyemang Duah thanked the DCE for visiting the community to among other things listen to the plight of the people.
He mentioned the allocation of the new market stalls, commissioning of the police station, fixing of faulty street lights, construction of community centre among others as major challenges confronting the District Capital.

With the DCE at the durbar held in front of the Chief’s Palace were heads of departments, heads of units, and staff of the District Assembly.
Mr Owusu Ansah was confirmed as DCE on October 1, 2021.
