MP for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Congratulates Hon. Alfred Amoah on his re-appointment

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, Mr Alfred Obeng-Boateng has officially sent a congratulatory message to the incumbent, Mr Alfred Amoah on his re-nomination to the high office of Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipal Assembly.

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) perior to the annonouncement of the MMDCE nominees asked the party top hierrachy,s and other stakeholders particularly, supporters to accept the yet-to-be-published list of Chief Executive Officers for the various Metropolitans, Municipalities and Districts Assemblies in good faith.

The Party believes acceptance of the list is a sign of respecting the President’s decision and foster unity among the party members.

The Member of Parliament for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency, has shown the way, as leader of the people he represents.

The MP, stated that he accepts President Akufo-Addo’s decision whole heatedly.

Adding that, the power to appoints does not lie in his hands, but rather the President.

He was optimistic that the President conducted series of  background checks on those who he retained and appointed as MMDCEs.

He further indicated that the President knows best and assured the constituents to work with him to steer the progress of the Municipality.

Mr Obeng Boateng further stressed there is cordial relationship with the incumbent MCE, Alfred Amoah, which he alluded to the fact they have been exchanging information everyday when sworn in as Member of Parliament.

He, therefore, appealed to the Assembly Members to endorse Mr. Alfred Amoah to ensure their joint collaboration to bring more development to the area.

He advised party supporters and his followers to desist from any act that can dent the peaceful atmosphere of the area since they did not get their prefered choice.
