I was ruined when I heard about the hideous accident which claimed many productive lives and left several others injured in the early hours on Monday, Jan 10, 2021, on the Tanoso-Anhwiaso to Sefwi Wiawso stretch in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
As a Member of Parliament for the area, I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the lost precious souls and also wish those who are seeking medical care a speedy recovery.
I would also like to use this opportunity to appeal to all and sundry especially the drivers to take road safety measures seriously to reduce the degree of road accidents.
It is very heartbreaking to hear that an accident took away the breadwinners within a wink.
I pray to God to give us the strength to quell these painful times.
Yes, I can comprehend the pains, emotions, and feelings of both the bereaved families and the injured persons but I pray the Almighty God heals us soonest.
May the good Lord comfort us in times like this.
