The Member of Parliament for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, Mr Alfred Obeng-Boateng has settled scores with some key actors in the party who were not on good terms with him after the 2020 general elections.
Notable among them are Ben Ali Seaman, Ben Kumi, David Gyasi Gyamprah and Kofi Duku whose played vital role in the campaign engineering for the MP.
The situation led by Mr. Kwame Asamoah, Alias Kwame Agege, the aforementioned members of NPP and Friends of Approachers rendered an unqualified apology to the Member of Parliament at his private residence in Kumasi.
They were remorseful for the infractions and promised not to repeat such uncallful conduct again.
Mr Obeng-Boateng accepted the plea in good fate and recounted that the plea has come at the right time.
He indicated that ”this is the time to unite for development. It is not easy but represents a positive milestone on the long road to development and prosperity” Mr Obeng reiterated.
He urged them to consult, advise and liaise with him on issues bothering development and the general well- being of the Municipality.
The Legislator and Philanthropist hinted that he was guided by Matthew 5:24 “Leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled with your brother and then come and offer your gift.”
In addition, the team was admonished to tread cautiously to avoid the recurrence of the issue solved. ”Let’s do our best to avoid possible rift” Mr. Obeng Boateng hinted.
The MP, thanked Mr Kwame Asamoah of the mediation team for his efforts towards peace building and urged him to continue his good works.
With this mediation, all the personalities involved have been reinstated to their former positions.
The actors promised to feature on Stylish Radio Station- a local base radio station owned by MP.
Alhaji Ben Ali Seaman was enthusiastic for the latest development to maintain the peaceful atmosphere to move the NPP party in the Constituency.
