The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosome Freho Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Mr Akwasi Darko Boateng popularly known as ADB has supported the residents of Susu Freho and Nsuta Zonal Councils with Seven (700) bags of cement and Twenty five 25 packets of roofing sheets.
According to the MP, the purpose of this donation was to enable the communities renovate their dilapidated school structures.
He said the donation came as a result of a formal request made by the communities members during his thank you tour in the constituency after the 2020 general elections.
Mr Darko Boateng
indicated that, the constituent gave him mandate to be the MP and therefore will ensure the very best of education in a most conducive and a well decorated atmosphere to improve the level of performance in the district.
“Despite my many commitments to the education sector, I will not relent on my efforts but pursue further to lend a helping hand to the citizenry as and when the need arises”. He stated.
Some of the beneficiary communities include, Keteke, Nsuta, Anomawobi, Yawbiri, and Huntaado in the Nsuta Zone with Besease, Nsueam II, Abosamso, Asamama, Minti, Nsutem and Anhwiaso all in Susu Freho Zone.
The MP also used the opportunity to visit some on-going educational project sites to a have a first hand information on the project.
Speaking to myvoicenews.com reporter Kwame Amponsah, emphasised on the need for such donation would go a long to enhance him from incurring another cost for putting up a new structure.
The Assembly Member for Korchikrom electoral area, Mr Osei Clement after receiving the items thanked the MP for his kind gestures and urged the constituent to rally behind him for more development.
