The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, Mr Alfred Obeng-Boateng has extended a helping hand to two young entrepreneurs in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
The package, according to the MP was to enhance them to expand their businesses.
The beneficiaries were, Mr. Kwabena Amankwah Asiedu, leader of the New Partrotic Party (NPP) communication team of the MP and Mr. Addae, polling station chairman at Nantwikumye.
The two were given Ghc2,500.00 cheque each.
Presenting the cheque to them at Bibiani, the MP said the package was a reward to the two young entrepreneurs for buying into his ideas and vision of entrepreneurship.
Mr Obeng-Boateng encouraged them to use the package to expand their businesses. Since “Pig farm is a lucrative business that a suburb of Accra has been christined pig farm”, he narrated the history behind this suburb to the people present.
He reiterated that, he would be glad to hear from one of the entrepreneurs that the seed capital of his business came from the support from the Member of Parliament in future.
He urged all the youth present to follow the good steps of the beneficiaries in order to secure a brighter future.
The beneficiaries were very grateful to the MP and pledged to invest the packageinto the business so as to ensure economic growth in the area.
