The Kingmakers and chieftains of Bibiani Hwenapori have stated unequivocally that Nana Yaa Foriwaa is not a legitimate chief of their stool.
The Atipihene of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council, Nana Kwadwo Bonya II, together with the Ankobea Royal Family of Bibiani Hwenapori, Abusumpanin of the Ankobea Royal Family, Kwadwo Kyemanteng, say the recent installed chief of Bibiani Hwenapori, Nana Yaa Foriwah can not see herself as chief, and that ,no body should recognise her as chief of Hwenapori.
Nana Kwadwo Bonya II, in a press conference held yesterday at Bibiani told the media that, Nana Yaa Foriwah is not from the royal family, therefore, she is not the rightful candidate for Hwenapori Stool.
He added that it’s rather Nana Ebiri Kwaku ll, who was chosen candidate from the royal family.
The kingmakers stressed that, Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council further affirmed that, the Traditional Council that know and recognises Nana Ebiri Kwaku lI as chief of Hwenapori after since August 9, 2020.
They explained further that Nana Ebiri Kwaku lI was legally enstooled as the chief of the area, so Abusumpanin Kwadwo Bruimah has no right to install new chief when the existing one is alive and performing to expectations of Traditional Council and the royal family.
Nana Ebiri Kwaku ll, on his part urged the good people of Bibiani Hwenapori to remain calm and unity in order to ensure rapid development of the area.
