The death has been reported of Mrs Cecilia Boateng, 67, a biological sister of Mrs Yaa Boahemaa Agyemang, known in political circles as Hon. Yaa Boahemaa, National Democratic Congress(NDC) Women’s Organiser in the Atwima Nwabiagya South.
The late Mrs Cecilia Boateng fondly called Abenaa Bemah/Obaa K)k)) died after a short illness in the United Kingdom barely two weeks ago. She was a mother of five children and the wife of Mr Baffour Kwaku Gyau.
According to the Ashanti Regional Deputy Women’s Organiser hopeful of NDC and former Assembly Member ( Government Appointee), the One Week Observation of her late sister will be held on Friday March 11, 2022 , in front of Corporative Cocoa Shed at Toase near Nkawie.
Hundreds of people including politicians, traditional leaders, religious leaders, church members, friends and sympathisers are expected to mourn with the bereaved Asona/ Baamu Family of Toase from 6am to 6pm on Friday.
