The Residents of Busunya, the District Capital of Nkoranza North District of the Bono East Region, have expressed their bitterness over the poor nature of roads making movement difficult for motorists to adjoining communities.
They said, sick and pregnant women are dying frequently as a result of the poor nature of the roads.
According to the disappointed residents armed robbers have been taking advantage of their poor roads network to rob them.
This came to light at Busunya Community Cooperative Mutual Support and Social Services Society’s four years anniversary with the theme:
“The Importance of Thinking about the Future”.
The Executive Director for Busunya Community Cooperative, Mr. Antwi Daniel called on authorities to come to their aid, so as to mitigate the suffering of people.
According to him, the Cooperative Society has aimed to support poor individuals in communities.
He is appealing to all Ghanaians particularly, the people of Bono East, Nkoranza and Busunya to join and support mutual cooperative society to achieve its aim .
