Shatta Wale should be grateful to me always for introducing him to Terry Bonchaka – Kay Smooth

On numerous platforms, Ghana’s very own Shatta Wale has expressed his undying affection for the late Terry Bonchaka.

According to Shatta Wale, Terry Bonchaka was a huge inspiration to him from the start of his music career, but it’s unfortunate that Terry Bonchaka didn’t live long enough to see how large he has become in our music world today.

As a consequence, Shatta Wale eulogizes Terry Bonchaka every October 29th, the month Terry died in a horrific accident.

However, according to musician Kay Smooth, who was interviewed by Quoo Fante on Kessben Tv’s Around Town program, he grabbed Shatta Wale’s hands and introduced him to Terry Bonchaka.

In the voice of Kay Smooth, it’s because of him that Shatta Wale got to know the late Terry Bonchaka, therefore, Shata should be grateful to him always.

Terry Bonchaka (1982-2003) was a Ghanaian musician and dancer. He started his music career in the early 2000s and quickly rose to fame with his unique style of music which blended traditional Ghanaian rhythms with contemporary dancehall and hip-hop beats.

Terry Bonchaka was known for his energetic performances and dance moves. Some of his popular songs include “Pulele,” “Zoozey,” “Ghana Ladies,” and “African Lady.”

Unfortunately, Terry Bonchaka’s promising career was cut short when he died in a car accident on October 30, 2003, at the age of 21.
