The immediate past District Chief Executive(DCE) for Sekyere Afram-Plains, Mr Joseph Owusu is of the view that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) can not stay in power after 2024 general elections without tapping into experience of outgoing Metropolitan Municipal, and District Chief Executives(MMDCEs).

The former Dean of Ashanti Region MMDCEs in his candid proposal stated “…it is a common political knowledge within this 4th Republic that Ghanaians psyche of changing Government every eight years is what we propose that a group is immediately formed to help support with the vast experience that collectively is among 23 outgoing MMDCEs to immediately support the Agenda Breaking the Eight”.

The former DCE for Sekyere Afram-Plains fondly known in political scene as Odenkyem made the statement in press release to thank President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo for the opportunity for himself and other colleagues to serve his government in the first term of government.
