The Church of Pentecost Builds Capacity of Leaders At Ho Area

The Church of Pentecost(COP) has held a one day capacity building for its leaders to equip them in data collection.

The event was held at Ho Dome and Anum-Asikuma under the Ho Area of the church in the Volta Region.

About 47 officials of the church participated in data collection workshop on “GIS Mobile Data Collection App”

The mobile App, among other things would assist the church to collect data on location, and other useful information on church properties.

The Church of Pentecost, this year, has the mantra “A Glorious Church Revived To Possess The Nations”, and according to Pastor Daniel Guessou, the Ho Area Estate Committee chairman, the church would not accomplish its target without technology.

Mr Matthew Dogbey, a facilitator of the training event took participants through installation of the mobile app, overview of mapping system and in-depth features of the app.

Participants after the training workshop thanked Apostle Dr. Dela Quampah, Ho Area Apostle in particular, and leadership of Church for building their capacity and promised to make good use of the knowledge acquired.

Overseer Felix Brakatu disclosed to Myvoicenews.com that, before the training workshop held last Saturday, two officers from each Area of the Church were drawn from every part of the country to be schooled on the mobile app.
