Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia Monday announced the passing of his mother, Hajia Mariama Bawumia.
The Vice President, in a brief statement, said his Mother “passed away peacefully this morning in Accra. Burial is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday September 14, 2021 in Walewale.”
Hajia Mariama Bawumia, 81, is said to have been ill and receiving treatment at a health facility in Accra.
