WESTERN NORTH COMMUNICATION BUREAU – NDC THE ENTIRE WESTERN NORTH NDC SYMPATHIZE WITH THE NPP FRATERNITY IN THE REGION OVER THE LOSS OF HON. ALFRED AMOAH, MCE FOR BIBIANI AHWIASO BEKWAI MUNICIPAL AND HIS DRIVER, SAMUEL GYASI

We stood awake yesterday Tuesday, 12 July, 2022 wondering and asking ourselves questions only to ascertain the truth or otherwise of the disgusting news we were hearing. In disbelief and self consolation, we forcibly adopted for ourselves the falsely nature of the news. However, the perpetual trickling in of the information down spirited us and broke us into tears and sadness.

It is indeed a day to remember not as the normal twenty four hours journey but the heart piercing sorrowful moment which stared at our faces whiles restless and helpless. Nothing indeed could be done to avert or reverse it. We are indeed moved by the passing of Hon Alfred Amoah.

The Western North region indeed is infant and as such characters and minds such as that of Hon. Alfred Amoah is needed. His death has come at a wrong time and a crucial time as well in our development as a region.

As party, we pledge our unflinching support and deepest condolences to the Regional Minister and the RCC, the Bibiani Ahwiaso Bekwai Constituency, the MP and the entire NPP fraternity in the region. We are indeed in this together as one. Our condolences to the family and friends of the MCE as well.

We, however, call on the Ghana Police Service to as a matter of urgency apprehend the truck driver and bring justice to the departed souls. On this sad note, we once again express our condolences to the families of Hon. Alfred Amoah and Sammy the driver. May the good Lord keep them till eternity. Amen.
